Decanter requires temporary staff to assist at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards. Judging week will take place in CentrEd Excel Center (Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL).

Tuesday 6 May - Saturday 10 May: 08:00 – 17:30 (Hours may vary)
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare flights of wines for judges to assess, i.e. bring wine boxes to the judging table and pour flights for your assigned panel
• Look after your assigned judges and assist the Panel Chairs
• Replenish glasses, reset tables, replace faulty bottles and attend to any general needs of the tasting panel
• Remove the wines once all the bottles from a flight have been tasted, sort medal/non-medal wines and report gold medals to the team leader
If you help the Logistics Team:
• You’ll be asked to help open the wines and bring flights of wines to the tasting studios
• Bring clean glasses to studios and collect the dirty ones
• Bring any equipment that the tasting studios require during the day…
This is a busy and physical role working in a team environment with approximately 70 other runners.
All staff must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to lift a full box of wine.
