Roberson Wine is an independent, specialist importer distributing through multiple sales channels including direct to consumer, trade and private clients. We represent some of the most exciting producers in the USA and France and run the UK’s original urban winery - London Cru. Bringing great wine to people requires getting the business fundamentals right, which is why we’re looking for a Finance Manager to help the business embark on its next phase of growth.
Working closely with senior management, the job’s core responsibilities are:
· Management and financial accounting and reporting
· Budgeting and monitoring
· Completing company VAT returns and liaising with HMRC
· Oversight of Debtor chasing and credit control
· Fine Wine stock receipt management and storage invoicing.
· Managing stock movements under bond
· Administrating employee expenses and credit cards
· Regular review of control accounts to ensure differences can be identified
The key skillsets and characteristics you’ll be able to demonstrate are:
· Minimum 2 years working within a Finance department
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent knowledge of Excel
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure and hit tight deadlines
· Ability to work by yourself and as part of a team
· Comfort with ERP systems, ideally Bevica/Microsoft Business Central
· Experience of the UK wine trade would be beneficial
