Established in September 2023, Halo Wines is a dynamic importer serving both on-trade and independent off-trade clients. We are dedicated to uncovering distinctive and characterful wine producers, predominantly from France, Portugal and Lebanon. Our carefully curated portfolio showcases a diverse range of family-owned domaines, emerging talents, and innovative trailblazers, all with a focus on sustainability and authenticity. We are now expanding our sales team and are seeking a talented Sales Representative to build upon existing business in the north of England.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior sales experience in the wine and spirits business.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines.
  • Understanding of the wine marketplace and relevant competition in the north of England.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
  • IT Proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must be based close to the target region, with the ability to travel as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop the geographical territory, cultivating relationships with customers via face-to-face visits and phone/email correspondence.
  • Develop expertise in Halo Wines' portfolio of wines as the fundamental tool for establishing successful sales.
  • Participate in market work assignments with visiting suppliers.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings.
  • Participate in various trade and consumer tasting events.
  • Learn and utilise internal operating systems to effectively follow company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
