About Our Open Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic sales and hospitality team as an Assistant Membership Manager. The Assistant Membership Manager will support the Direct-to-Consumer Manager with daily club operations, customer service, and Zaca Mesa and Tread in-house fulfillment. They will handle incoming calls and emails to assist customers with inquiries and orders. This person must communicate professionally and courteously, aligning with the mission of Zaca Mesa Winery & Tread Wines.

Essential Functions

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails to assist with order processing, shipping, tracking, reservations, event ticket sales, general inquiries, and complaints.
  • Process, pack, and ship wine and merchandise orders for in-house fulfillment. Monitor shipping orders through to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for paid club will call orders by conducting monthly inventory audits.
  • Assist with setting up and processing wine club shipments.
  • Make sure the shipping area is always clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
  • Engage in customer outreach and phone sales efforts to help achieve team sales targets and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Oversee the e-commerce page and CRM database under the supervision of the Direct-to-Consumer Manager.
  • Process donation requests.
  • Assist with winery and club events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring...

  • One to three years of experience in a customer service position.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, ShipCompliant, MailChimp, Tock, and UPS WorldShip.
  • Experience in telephone sales.
  • High school diploma, AA degree, or a combination of education and experience.
