Assistant Tasting Room Manager at Two K Farms Cidery & Winery

Assistant Tasting Room Manager:

Help with Staff management:

· Manage, guide, and motivate all tasting room staff.

· Help train and educate the staff on cider and wine products sold.

· Communicate with staff regarding goals and performance.

· Manage the Tasting room 2-3 days a week during busy season.

Wine Sales:

· Educate staff and customers on products and pricing.

· Sell product proficiently and motivate staff to sell product as well.

Daily Operations in Tasting Room:

· Wine inventory management and reconciliation in tasting room.

· Manage merchandise displays and contents.

· Merchandise inventory reconciliation.

· Opening and closing of tasting room.

· Work with the TR manager go schedule and staffing.

· Help move wine/cider from warehouse to tasting room.

· Clean and maintain the Tasting room.

Guest Experience:

· Highly visible on the tasting room floor.

· Help work or organize private events when needed.

· Willingness to attend on and offsite events, meetings, and trainings.

· Add to our culture of exceptional service and hospitality.

Desired Qualifications:

· Previous hospitality management experience desired.

· At least one year of experience in a winery tasting room required/highly recommended.

· Work weekends, Required.

Must be proficient in Word, Excel, internet, email use, and may be required to perform additional tasks not listed.

Two K Farms is looking for an Assistant Tasting Room Manager for the tasting room location on M-22 overlooking West Grand Traverse Bay. Responsibilities include working closely with Tasting Room Manager, and helping with: staff management, hard cider and wine sales, and creating memorable guest experiences. Attractive compensation package including salary, paid time off, and healthcare.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
