Bartender

NOW HIRING! For the newly renovated and remodeled Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe, NY. Family owned and run for almost 15 years.

WANTED: Bartenders ($14 an hour + tips)

Perks, paid time off, flexible schedule.

Part time only. 

Experience preferred and strong work ethic desired. 

BARTENDER - EXPECTED DUTIES

• Oversee a full bar offering at our tasting room, including beer, wine, cocktails and coffee drinks.

• Familiarize yourself with Go Tab commerce platform functionality and support devices.


• Memorize to best ability menu cocktail recipes, current beer offerings, wine list and non-alcoholic options.


• Provide support to kitchen counter when required; Familiarize self with kitchen display system and functionality.


• Prepare and serve all menu drink offerings correctly and in a timely manner.


• Sell to-go items and brewery-related merchandise.


• Handling customer complaints or feedback in a professional and courteous manner.


• Maintain a cash drawer, handling cash transactions.


• Interface with arriving guests in absence of a host or hostess.


• Deliver drinks to tables or guests in remote locations when required.


• Bus tables or counter tops when necessary.


• Assist with any janitorial requirements (spills, bathroom necessities, etc.).


• Place food orders for bar-only customers if requested.


• Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pound items.


• Stand for long periods of time.

Core requirements include:

• 1+ year bartending  


• Brewery tasting room experience a plus


• Barista experience a plus


• Possession of a positive and enthusiastic attitude


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Physically able to perform duties


• Possess flexibility and multi-tasking ability


• Solid math and tech skills


• Mixology or Cicerone certification a plus
