Established by Bill Foley in 1996, Foley Family Wines & Spirits (FFWS) is a portfolio of highly acclaimed wines and spirits from some of the world's greatest estates. The company owns more than 25 wineries and distilleries, each with its distinct style, legacy, and approach to hospitality.
Job Summary:
Under close supervision, performs routine bottling tasks with specific instructions and set procedures; may be required to assist more skilled workers with advanced assignments. Performs various routine cellar work assignments according to established procedures seasonally during harvest. While doing so, observes the department’s standard operating procedures and safety practices.
o Dumping station; dump empty bottles from cases unto conveyor feeding bottle sparger.
o Superblock station; monitor the blower, filler, capper, corker, foiler, and labeler.
o Packing station; pack full bottles into cases, pulling out bottles with defects.
o Palletizing station; stack full cases onto pallet, wrapping full pallets with plastic, and labeling.
o Operating pump for juice and wine movements and pumpovers.
o Digging out pomace from tanks.
o Cleaning and sanitation of tanks and equipment.
o Filling barrels.
o Additions.
