We are a staffing partner helping a prestigious Napa Valley winery find a talented Business Development Manager.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and expanding market presence. This role requires a mix of strategic planning, client relationship management, and hands-on sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive new business opportunities and increase revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Represent the winery at events, tastings, and industry functions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the wine or spirits industry.
- Strong knowledge of wine markets, distributors, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
- Passion for wine and hospitality.
