We are seeking a motivated individual interested in working alongside our Winemaker and Assistant Winemaker to gain invaluable experience crafting wines of remarkable quality. Job Description


Harvest Duties

  • Operate all harvest equipment
  • Fermentation management – Pump overs and punch downs
  • Inoculations and Juice Additions
  • Vineyard sampling
  • Grape and Juice Analysis – Brix, pH, TA, and Phenolics


General Cellar Duties

  • Execute all general cellar activities
  • Wine transfers, racking, and blending
  • Barrel operations – Racking, filling, and topping
  • Barrel maintenance – Upkeep, sanitation, and repairs
  • Sanitize all winery equipment and upkeep cleanliness of cellar
  • Wine sampling
  • Participate in blend trial tastings
  • Setup and execute filtration
  • Assist with bottling operations
  • Forklift operation
  • Follow and observe all safety guidelines
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required. College degree in Enology preferred
  • Previous cellar experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds; 40 pounds regularly and repetitively
  • Must be passionate, enthusiastic, dedicated, positive, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environment
