Customer Service for The Cellar @ Oak & Front on the Riverfront in Downtown at Oak & Front Wine Bar & Tasting Room

The Cellar is an extension of Oak & Front | Kitchen + Bar, serving gelato, espresso/coffee selections, food, gift items and more, including fine wine and spirits.

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team at The Cellar. This is a tipped position!

Job Title: Customer Service and Sales Associate at The Cellar at Oak & Front | Kitchen + Bar

As a Customer Service and Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, scooping gelato, selling wine in a retail environment, making coffee, and handling store cashier duties. You will be the face of our business and the first point of contact for our customers, so we are looking for people who are friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional customer service
• Scoop gelato and serve coffee
• Serve desserts
• Recommend and sell wine and other products in a retail environment
• Operate the store's cash register and handle cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of products
• Promote and maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere in the store

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food service is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

We offer a competitive hourly wage plus tips (Minimum wage plus tips w/ $15/hour guaranteee). We are hiring immediately and look forward to hearing from you.
