Job Description:
Join our clients dynamic team as a Grower Relations Representative in Stockton, CA! We are seeking an experienced professional passionate about agriculture to source high-quality almonds and walnuts. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with growers, supporting the company's growth by finding new growers, and ensuring top-notch production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong connections with current and potential growers and buyers.
- Ensure high-quality standards by maintaining detailed records on farming practices, yields, and nut quality.
- Oversee crop development, forecast crop tonnages, and coordinate product deliveries.
- Lead the negotiation, creation, and processing of agreements with growers.
- Represent the company at industry events, promoting our brand and values.
- Stay updated on market pricing and product trends, contributing to pricing strategy development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agriculture.
- Experience with almonds and/or walnuts preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Viticulture, Plant Science, Agricultural Science, Ag Business, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
- Ability to drive up to 6-8 hours per day, 3-4 days per week.

Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
