A well-established winery in Paso Robles is seeking experienced & dedicated Cellar Workers for Harvest 2025. This is a hands-on role supporting all aspects of wine production—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and values safety and quality.
Position Details:
Anticipated duration through November.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cellar tasks including grape reception, crush operations, additions, equipment operation, barrel work, bottling, cleaning, tank digging and sanitation
- Oversee cap management tasks such as pump-overs, punch-downs, and delestages
- Collect tank and barrel samples for analysis
- Read and follow work orders accurately
- Monitor tank levels and maintain compliance with all safety procedures and protocols
- Other cellar tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in wine production or cellar environment
- Comfortable following verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Comfortable with frequent physical labor, including bending and navigating stairs while carrying loads
- Willingness to work in confined spaces
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Schedule & Pay:
- Anticipated schedule: Monday–Friday, shifts starting as early as 6:00am.
- Overtime required, including weekends during peak harvest
- Wage: $18.00–$20.00/hr DOE
