Head Brewer/ Brew Master

We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Brew Master or Head Brewer to lead our brewing operations. Responsibilities

• Lead the entire brewing process, from recipe development to fermentation, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols throughout all stages of production to meet food safety standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Oversee equipment maintenance and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations, including troubleshooting and performing routine repairs.
• Manage packaging operations, including kegging, while maintaining efficiency and product integrity.
• Supervise warehouse activities related to raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
• Work directly with vendors and place purchase orders for materials needed to support brewing process.
• Implement safety procedures related to food safety and workplace safety regulations; conduct regular training on sanitation, HACCP compliance, and safe equipment operation.
• Collaborate with team to develop new beer styles that align with market trends and customer preferences.
• Develop annual production plan to support meeting goals for business.

Requirements

• Proven experience in brewing, with a strong background in craft beer production and knowledge of brewing techniques.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices, HACCP protocols, CGMP standards, and food safety regulations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to brewing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with an understanding of warehouse operations and packaging processes.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
• Previous experience in the food industry or beverage manufacturing is highly desirable.
