We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Cook will assist in meal preparation, cooking, and presentation while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Memphis Area 3 pm- 11 pm with some overtime $15.00/hr Key Responsibilities: Qualifications:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Follow food safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Assist in managing kitchen staff during peak service times.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
