Remote Wine, Art & Event Sales Representative – Part-Time, Seasonal (Santa Ynez Winery)

About Us

Artiste Winery, based in Santa Ynez, creates art-inspired, small-batch wines paired with original artwork. We also offer packaged foods, original art, private-label wine projects, private-barrel blends, and on-site & off-site events.

We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in a part-time, seasonal remote role. You’ll connect with customers by phone, email, and social media to drive sales, foster relationships, and share the Artiste story. Strong performers will have the opportunity to convert into a full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through outbound calls, emails, and social media engagement
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts (wine club + past buyers) while seeking new opportunities
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and convert leads into sales
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Track customer interactions in CRM system (training provided)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and maximize conversion

Work Schedule

  • Part-time: 20–25 hours/week (Tuesday–Saturday)
  • Late morning to early evening (10am–6pm CA time)
  • Flex up to 30 hours/week in Q4 holiday season (peak sales)

Compensation

  • $16/hour base (CA minimum wage)
  • Tiered monthly commission (15–30%) on net sales
  • Strong seasonal earning potential: top performers can reach $30,000+ net sales in Q4 months
  • Seasonal role, with potential for full-time employment and higher base pay

Skills & Qualifications

  • Motivated and results-driven, comfortable meeting sales goals
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, social)
  • Organized, with ability to follow up consistently
  • Prior sales, hospitality, or wine experience preferred (not required — training provided)
  • Customer-service oriented, focused on building long-term relationships
  • Must be 21+ and authorized to work in California
