Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated short term employee to work in our tasting room during our busiest time of the year. Tasting room staff introduce customers to North Shore Winery and our products, serve customers, and keep the tasting room stocked and in order.
We need someone to fill in from August through October during our busiest time. Fall is the time of year when tips are highest, so this is a great way to make some money before winter!
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with customers
- Understanding our wines and sharing information about our wines
- Operating our POS system (Square)
- Pouring wines
- Stocking wine and other items
- Giving tours
- Cleaning
Requirements:
- Be able to stand on your feet for long periods
- Be able to carry up to 40 pounds 100 feet
- Operate a tablet for sales
- Interact positively and professionally with customers
- Must be of legal alcohol service age (18)
Schedule:
- Two to Four days a week, depending on the season
- Plus sub-shifts
- Potential for year-round work
- Some admin work for the interested candidate
Pay/Benefits:
- $13.00/hour
- Pay is highly supplemented by customer tips
