Lamoreaux Landing is looking for a passionate and engaging Tasting Room Educator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Lead guided tastings by explaining product features, production processes, and flavor profiles clearly and confidently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting area, adhering to food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation or pairing suggestions when applicable, supporting overall guest experience.
- Manage sample pours efficiently while ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations.
- Support event setup and breakdown for special tastings or private groups, ensuring smooth operations.
- Sell products to customers with confidence (training provided).
- General store maintenance, including stocking shelves.
- Quickly and accurately work the cash register.
- Complete duties from opening and closing checklists.
- Communicating effectively with team members and management.
- Take initiative to work independently, as well as, the ability to work well within a team environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable and friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food handling safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey product information and engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A genuine interest in the food industry, beverage pairing, and hospitality best practices.

Requirements:
- Must be available to work most weekends.
- Must have a friendly personality and be able to converse with a wide array of customers.
- Must be able to make change accurately.
- No history of alcohol abuse.
- 21+ years of age at time of employment is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and walk up and down stairs
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
