Duties
- Lead engaging tasting sessions by educating guests on the nuances of our wines, highlighting unique features and pairing suggestions
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages exploration
- Upsell wine and club memberships confidently by identifying guest preferences and suggesting suitable options to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room
- Handle POS transactions, accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and receipt processing
- Support events or special tastings
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurants and ideally wine service
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences and convey wine knowledge clearly
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a genuine, guest-focused approach
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced setting
