We are looking for a tasting room manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring that customer service standards are met. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team. The ideal candidate will also have experience with inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation of store policies and procedures.
  • Managing and developing staff.
  • Communicating with customers
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining store standards and merchandising displays.
  • Monitoring stock levels.
  • Developing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Providing feedback to the General manager on employee performance.

Hours & Seasonal Scheduling Expectations

This position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, with Friday through Sunday being the core coverage days. During our busy season (July through December), weekend availability is essential, and managers should expect to work every weekend. Expect to arrive a half hour prior to store opening and leave half to an hour after closing. Accommodations can be made on a case‑by‑case basis when operationally feasible.

January through April is our slower season, and the tasting room is currently open Friday through Sunday, however, may change based on business needs. During this period, reduced or flexible weekly hours may be available based on business needs and mutual agreement. This is also the recommended time for vacation requests or special weekend time off, with the exception of key holidays and events such as New Year’s Eve, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.08 - $20.11 per hour
