Venue Sales Coordinator at Thomas Fogarty Winery

Thomas Fogarty Winery, founded in 1978 by Dr. Thomas Fogarty, is located in the rugged Santa Cruz Mountains. With a coastal climate, high elevation, and thin rocky soils, the winery produces site-expressive wines. The Winery hosts both wine tastings out of a public Tasting Room as well as private events, wine tastings, and weddings through bookings of the Private Event Facility.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Venue Sales Coordinator, located in Woodside, CA. The Venue Sales Coordinator is responsible for converting event sales leads to venue bookings and wine sales. The role is primarily sales-driven, but also supports at events in a Venue Manager role, serving as the venue point-of-contact for clients and their vendor teams.

• Comfortable public speaking to facilitate wine tastings for groups of 8-200 guests
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn (Prior experience in the wine and/or events industry is a plus but not required)
• Ability to lift a case of wine and be on your feet for extended periods of time (up to 50lbs)
