Swallow Wines is a licensed Texas winery with a tasting room that opened in North Austin, downtown Round Rock, on February 29, 2024. We're a counter service and tip-free establishment. We are hiring a part-time Wine Consultant to curate wine tasting flights, feature a monthly grape varietal, and engage daily with our Cellar Club members.
You re the host and have the freedom to create an experience in your style that makes you comfortable. Host engaging, unique, and memorable wine tasting experiences for groups of 1 to 10 people.
- Educate guests about the variety of wine tasting experiences available.
- Promote monthly wine tasting events and the Cellar Club to enhance guest engagement.
- Set up tasting settings and reset them between parties, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for each guest.
- Polish and sanitize glassware and countertop to maintain a clean and professional environment.
- Utilize POS and reservation software to assist with purchases and manage booking appointments.
- Build relationships with core Cellar Club members to understand their wine preferences and recommend new selections.
- Encourage wine sales by delivering exceptional service and personalized recommendations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the tasting room and outdoor tasting areas.
Schedule Availability: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM (working shift from 12 - 6 or 2-8). Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with additional availability for special events scheduled 30 days in advance.
