Summary:
The winery housekeeper will ensure all areas inside bottling production is clean and sanitized. They will ensure a pristine environment for visitors and staff while adhering to the company’s sanitation standards and safety protocols.
Reports to: Bottling Manager
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM
Compensation: $20 - $22
You Will:
- Cleaning and sanitizing bottling floors, and high touched areas
- Removing debris and spills from production areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment storage areas
- Performing regular deep cleaning tasks like floor stripping and waxing
- Dusting furniture and fixtures within the bottling area
- Emptying trash and recycle bins inside facility
- Conduct regular inspections of production facility to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet company standards.
- Keep inventory of supplies and request new supplies with bottling management
- Help maintain sanitation of wine totes
- Maintain housekeeping inventory clean
- Other duties as assigned
You Have:

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks like bending, reaching, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Work independently and follow cleaning schedules
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (eight or more hours per day).
- Ability to see and hear and respond to visual and auditory stimuli (due to equipment and related work/workflow of production environment) is likely required.
- May need to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50+ pounds at a time
- Varying schedules may include evenings, holidays, swing or graveyard shifts and extended hours as business dictates.
- Will work near moving mechanical parts.
- Work environment can range from hot, damp, dry and cold, depending on the time of year.
- Required to wear PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, slip resistant boots)
