About the Role:

As a Winery Tasting Room Associate, you'll be the face of Boyd Cru Wines, bringing our unique story and exceptional wines to life. While similar to our in-tasting room consultants, this role focuses heavily on pop-up events, farmers markets, and various wine experiences within and outside our main tasting room. You'll engage with customers, guide them through tastings, share knowledge about our wines, and ensure everyone has a fantastic and educational experience.

This is a part-time position, perfect for individuals seeking project-based work that fits their schedule.

What You'll Do:

• Represent Boyd Cru Wines at various off-site events, including farmers markets, pop-ups, and special wine experiences.
• Engage directly with customers, sharing our brand story and the passion behind our wines.
• Conduct guided wine tastings, educating guests on varietals, tasting notes, and food pairings.
• Process sales and handle transactions accurately.
• Set up and break down event spaces efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain a vibrant, welcoming, and knowledgeable presence that enhances the customer experience.
• Answer customer questions and provide excellent service.

• A natural connector: You love meeting new people and can create a friendly, engaging atmosphere.
• Reliable and adaptable: You're punctual, can manage your time effectively, and are comfortable working in various event settings.
• Proactive and independent: You can take initiative and manage tasks efficiently as an independent contractor.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is required , wine knowledge is not required if you have the right attitude and eagerness to learn!
• Must be residing within a 30-mile radius of Savage, Maryland.

Compensation:

• Pay rate starts at $18 per hour.
